Abstract
In this innovative manual, the author comprehensively analyzes the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Pueblos Originarios de Jump. From an anthropological point of view, it approaches this theme including a multiplicity of perspectives: local, social, cultural, historical and legal. I offer the reader the possibility of carrying out an extremely dynamic, deep and complete tour.
Asimismo, throughout the work, is planted as the values, practices and meanings about that diversity are inserted in asymmetric relationships, inviting permanent critical reflection on this reality.
Therefore, we consider that this material contributes to the study of indigenous languages. From the incorporation of the perspective of Indigenous Pueblos accompanied by statistical information, providing an updated herramienta that allows us to understand, on the one hand, the linguistic policies adopted by the National State in different periods and, on the other, rescue the glottopolitics driven by different original communities. To decide, put into discussion naturalized conceptions, denouncing the urgency of strengthening and implementing public policies in order to achieve greater linguistic equity.
