Inter-generational transmission of legacy

Abstract

This is a world marked by the multiplication of wars, the constant instability of economies, and the unpredictable advances of technology, in which institutions have lost their protective role and the mandate of individual success pushes people into headlong escapes. Faced with this world that has become uncertain and dangerous, we tirelessly search for formulas that allow us to build a new system of references, to escape the immediacy of the present, and to recover the meaning of our existence. But hope for tomorrow will only be possible if we manage to reconstitute the social bonds that these realities have eroded; if we embark on the adventure of reestablishing the conditions for debate and reflection, mechanisms that allow us to recover the value of the knowledge passed down by those who came before us and to add to it the knowledge we build together in the present. The Institutional Psychosociology in which we situate ourselves offers certain keys in that direction.
