The purpose of this paper is to reflect, from an ethnographic perspective, on an intersubjective experience of knowledge production and territorial intervention in the framework of the relocation policy of the Matanza-Riachuelo basin in order to rethink, from this experience, the differences between a dialogue of knowledge in a strong sense and a dialogue of knowledge in a weak sense. After reviewing the aspects that characterized the first relocations in Buenos Aires in the context of the Matanza-Riachuelo basin cause, we will characterize the period of professionalization of relocations in the city of Buenos Aires. Next, we will recover the various lines of collaborative work that we developed between 2013 and 2016, which included the elaboration of a Relocation Protocol. If an exchange of knowledge in a weak sense involves - from the position of the "experts" - a reproduction of asymmetries between professionals and policy recipients, an exchange of knowledge in a strong sense brings into play an intensive reflexivity that enables adjustments in the repertoires of action, with tangible consequences on the issues of life that matter to the subaltern sectors.
